Musavat party holds protest action outside Iranian embassy

Baku. Elnur Mammadli â€“ APA. Musavat party held a protest action outside of Iranian embassy in Baku, APA reports. The protesters gathered in Akhundov Garden near the embassy. Secretary of the Musavat Mejlis Tofig Yagublu submitted the picket resolution to the embassy. Chief of the Musavat Headquarters Arif Hajili adreesed the protesters and accused the Iranian government in chauvinist persecution against Azerbaijanis. The party spokesman said the Iranian government also threatened Azerbaijan. He said the Iranian government must end this policy.
Police prevented the protesters to raise posters and to chant slogans. The action ended without incident. Members of the parliament from Musavat Party also attended the picket.
