Azerbaijani embassy in Moscow hosts meeting with Azerbaijani doctors working in Russia â€“ <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION </font>

Moscow. Roman Aghayev â€“ APA. The embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Moscow hosted a meeting with the Azerbaijani doctors working in the health and medicine sector. The meeting was organized by the representation of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Russia and Russian Azerbaijani Youth Organization, APA Moscow bureau chief reports.

Ambassador Polad Bulbuloglu called the medical profession a very important qualification. â€œDoctor is the closest one after the parents. We trust him our secrets and our health. The doctorâ€™s qualification is different one. It is very important fact that a number of professional Azerbaijani doctors are working in Russiaâ€. The ambassador said the health system is rapidly developing in Azerbaijan and many new hospitals, clinics and medical centers were opened and provided with modern equipments. Polad Bulbuloglu urged to carry out experience exchange between the Azerbaijani and Russian medical workers.

Head of the representation of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Russia and leader of the Russian Azerbaijani Youth Organization Leila Aliyeva said it was important to hold a meeting with the people who save human life. â€œYou encourage the people with hopes for future and help them. I thank you for your kind workâ€.

According to Leyla Aliyeva, Russian representation of Heydar Aliyev Foundation was opened two years ago, active work has been done in the field of culture, science, sport and education, but the priority of the representation is the sphere of health. She mentioned the activities carried out by Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the field of health and gave information about the projects implemented in this field. Leyla Aliyeva said since 2004 the foundation had been implementing a project to solve the problems of the children suffering from the diabetes.
â€œA modern Thalassemia Center has been built in Baku, new health facilities are being built and old medical establishments overhauled within the framework of the project â€œFor the life without thalassemiaâ€ implemented since February, 2005. A Childrenâ€™s Psychoneurological Dispensary has been built, the polyclinic repaired in Turkan settlement of Azizbayov district, a hospital in Shuvalan, diagnostic center in Zire settlement have been overhauled and supplied with modern equipment this year. A modern medical center was established in Gala settlement, â€œTebessumâ€ childrenâ€™s sanatorium overhauled in April, 2008,â€ she said.

Leyla Aliyeva said Heydar Aliyev Foundation had offered medical assistance to over 10,000 Azerbaijanis, 763 operations had been performed through the foundation, over 100 patients sent abroad for examination and treatment.

Following this, a film about the activity of Heydar Aliyev Foundation was demonstrated at the event. At the end prizes and presents were given to the participants.
