â€œSquare marketâ€ to be organized in Icheri Sheher due to Eurovision contest

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva â€“ APA. Preparatory measures are being continued for comfortable and interesting rest of foreign tourists, who come to the Eurovision song contest, in Icheri Sheher (Old City). The State Historical-Architectural Reserve under the Azerbaijanâ€™s Cabinet of Ministries told APA that traditional â€œSquare marketâ€ will be organized for popularization of the history and culture of Azerbaijan, support of national-applied art, organization of sale of craftsmenâ€™ works and observation of the guests of preparation processes of craftsmenâ€™ works in Icheri Sheher on May 20-25 near the Twin Towers (Gosha Gala) Gate at 12.00-20.00. Craftsmen from Baku and the various regions of Azerbaijan will participate in the event.

Besides it, the visitors can see and communicate historical ranges of Icheri Sheher. The event was organized by the Reserve Department and supported by Azerfon and Gazelli International ltd.
