Ireland’s Eurovision 2012 representatives: “The show’s venue could be just so beautiful†- INTERVIEW
- We are very pleased to be in Baku. On arrival in Baku, we were welcomed by soft and warm weather conditions, cheerful people along the road from the airport and all of these forced us to forget about our weariness. They gave us positive energy. We reached the hotel in the night-time, but early morning we went for a walk in the seaside park and even performed “Waterfall†live for the residents of the city.
- Are you satisfied with your first performance at the Crystal Hall?
- The show’s venue could be just so beautiful. We were amazed when entered the Crystal Hall. Everything was worked out in details. Our Crystal Hall impressions were added to the thoughts about Baku.
- Your hairstyle has not changed since last year. Will you save this style until the first semifinal?
- Hairs are the part of our body. We can not change our hairs as other parts of our bodies.
- But what about your stage dress, will it be changed?
- We cannot say anything about it as yet. We brought 20 clothing ensemble with us. We can take the stage with a dress reminding the box filled with popcorn as you see on us.
- Who is older, John or Edward?
- We think that who is taller, he is older. Edward is taller than me, may be that’s why he is older.
- Switzerland’s representatives – brothers Gabriel and Ivan and Irish brothers John and Edward will perform in the first semi-final? Who of them have better chances to be qualified for the final?
- We didn’t know that they are brothers. We are very glad to learn it. In my opinion, both of us must qualify for the final because we would like to meet them in the final stage very much.
- Do you want to say anything to Baku residents?
- We can say that one of us has been John, another one Edward, together – Jedward up to now. But now one of us is Azer, another one Baijan, together - Azerbaijan.
