Nargiz Pashayeva granted â€œFor Servicesâ€ Commander Cross of Hungary

Baku-APA. A ceremony on granting Professor Nargiz Pashayeva Rector of the Baku branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University â€œFor Servicesâ€ commander cross of Hungary were held on April 30.

N. Pashayeva was awarded for her activity on propagandizing Hungarian culture in Baku, by decree of the President of Hungary, APA reports.

Zsolt Chutora, an ambassador of Hungary to Azerbaijan read the order of the Hungarian president on granting N. Pashayeva.

Speaking about the high level of relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary, the ambassador noted that the activities in the field of culture bring together two nations.

Speaking at the ceremony, Professor Nargiz Pashayeva said that she is proud of awarding the highest Order of the President of Hungary; she noted that this is a good indicator of the attention given to the development of cultural dialogue between countries.
Speaking of the centuries-old rich cultural heritage of Hungary, Professor Nargis Pashayeva stressed that many of the great composers of the West worked under the influence of Hungarian folk music.

"I am very happy for this assessment of the Hungarian government, that we have warm and friendly relations. I am also very happy because, won this award not only as the rector of the Baku branch of Moscow State Lomonosov University, Artistic Director of "UNS", but also as a representative of my country - Azerbaijan ", - said Nargiz Pashayeva and expressed her gratitude.
