Peter Bird is director of Emin Agalarovâ€™s performance in Eurovision-2012 final show

APA reports quoting esckaz.com website that On May 26 Emin will perform a song from his new album "After The Thunder", which will be released on May 21 in Russia and Europe via EMI Music. Rehearsals of the Eminâ€™s final large-scale performance for Eurovision were held on April 18-19 in Moscow.

"I have the great honor - to perform in one of the intervals of the Eurovision Song Contest final. I think that everything will be awesome, interesting, beautiful - as it should be, when artist is closing the Eurovision in his home country - said Emin Agalarov and shared some secrets of the upcoming grand performance at the Concert Hall "Baku Crystal Hall". In the performance of EMIN will be involved more than 70 people, 40 dancers, 10 live-musicians and a whole symphonic orchestra, and its duration will be about 8 minutes. Fans of the Eurovision Song Contest will hear first the new single of EMIN and will enjoy music and dance extravaganza, with usage of Azeri national instruments, amazing costumes and unprecedented lighting technologies.

The director of the performance is British Peter Bird, who worked on such high-profile projects as the "New Millenium Show" on BBC, World Tour of "Deep Purple", "Russian Winter Festival" at Trafalgar Square and National ceremonies involving the British Royal family. In April, Peter specially arrived for a few days in Moscow to hold rehearsals for Eminâ€™s show. "This is truly awesome, staging, which have never been done before on television! Performance of Emin will surprise all those who will watch the show this year - said the famous director. - I am very proud that this time I had the opportunity to participate in preparations for the final of the music contest of such a level. I assure you that this year the final interval performance will exceed all expectations".
