"Azerbaijan is a place of tolerance, and it is a good thing to gather in Baku on the topic of climate change," Afra Mohammed Al Sabri, Director-General of the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), said at the Global Baku Summit of World Religious Leaders, titled "World Religions for a Green Planet," held on November 5 within the framework of the 9th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, APA reports.
"We must be able to overcome the problems we are addressing by showing solutions. The key to this is coming together for common goals. Interfaith dialogue can pave the way for solving many issues. At COP29, we should not just think about change, but also feel this process. Service, unity, and selflessness are the fundamental principles for humanity to live in a healthier environment," she added.
