"As part of the Climate and Clean Air Coalition, the UK has allocated 5 million pounds for a program to regulate emissions from the traditional fuel sector," Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero of the United Kingdom, Edward Miliband said during his speech at COP29 Summit on Methane and Non-CO2 Greenhouse Gases, APA reports.
"The UK is committed to setting an example in reducing methane emissions. We must also improve data on methane emissions and support other countries in their efforts to reduce methane emissions. Therefore, we are pleased to announce a financial support of 5 million pounds. As part of the Climate and Clean Air Coalition, a program will be created to monitor emissions from the fossil fuel sector," Ed Miliband added.
