Poland’s President Andrzej Duda noted that Azerbaijan has organized COP29 at a high level, he told in this regard to journalists, APA reports.
Andrzej Duda noted the significant activity at the summit: “I can say that the organization is better than in many other countries.”
He also highlighted that he held several bilateral meetings during the event, including one with Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev.
He said that he invited the Azerbaijani leader to visit Poland.
Speaking about the relations between the two countries, Duda emphasized that the cooperation covers the energy sector as well: "There are very good economic ties between our countries. The cooperation between Poland and Azerbaijan in the energy sector has been ongoing for a long time, starting with Presidents Lech Kaczyński and Aliyev. This is a traditional element of our collaboration. I hope that these relations will deepen in other areas of bilateral cooperation as well."
