"Nepal is a mountainous country, and we are concerned about the melting of snow in the mountains," Joint Secretary of Nepal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Amrit Bahadur Rai told journalists, APA reports.
He said that this is not only a threat to Nepal but also to all countries located in mountainous regions and billions of people.
"Therefore, we must focus on preventing snow from melting in the mountains. In this effort, Azerbaijan, Nepal, and of course, other countries—all parties—must work together. Developed countries must fulfill their commitments. We hope that the countries providing climate financing will step forward and meet their obligations," the Secretary emphasized.
