"In COP29, nuclear energy will be the focus of attention in the fight against climate change," Parviz Shahbazov, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, wrote on X platform, APA reports.
"At the First Ministerial Meeting of the World Fusion Energy Group in Rome, we had an exchange of views on the role of nuclear power as a clean, stable, and long-term energy source in the global Energy Transition and our cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). We drew attention to the fact that the nuclear power will be in the spotlight in the fight against climate change at COP29," the Minister noted.
