With the medical team of the COP29 Operating Company, each of the medical institutions allocated for the event and operating under TABIB was inspected, and our institutions were made ready to provide the necessary medical services, Vugar Gurbanov, Executive Director of the Azerbaijani Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB), said during a briefing on the organization of medical services within COP29.
He noted that in case of emergencies during the COP29 event, a total of 370 beds for emergency situations have been provided in the Mohammadi modular hospital which is assigned to the Sabunchu Medical Center.
During the COP29 event, 10 beds have been allocated in the modular hospital under the Clinical Medical Center to provide quality service for those infected with airborne infectious diseases.
In order to provide quality medical care taking into account the possibility of burn injuries, a Burn Department equipped with all the necessary medical equipment has been established at the Central Neftchilar Hospital.
