"Many targets have been set at COP29. However, the most important, in my view, is achieving cooperation among countries to implement programs to save our planet and sharing initiatives from various countries with others," Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) Salim bin Mohammed Al-Malik told APA.
He noted that financing is a major issue today: "I believe it is crucial for developed countries to assist developing countries. Because what happens in one country affects others as well. However, I do not think financing alone will help to fully solve the problems. There are many other issues to resolve climate problems."
