"In connection with the holding of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), the 19th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol, and the 6th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the formalization of special entry visas for numerous officials, delegations, and other guests visiting our country is ongoing to ensure their comfort," Ismayil Rasulzade, head of the "AsanVisa" department of the State Agency for Service to Citizens and Social Innovations (VXSIDA), said during a briefing, APA reports.
"The ‘COP29 Special Visa’ is required for participants traveling from foreign countries to Azerbaijan for COP29. The ‘COP29 Special Visa’ can be obtained through both the official electronic visa portal and the diplomatic missions and consulates of the Republic of Azerbaijan abroad," Ismayil Rasulzade noted.
