Azerenerji OJSC switches to enhanced work mode to ensure continuous and stable electricity supply of the country, especially the city of Baku, during the COP29 event, OJSC told APA-Economics.
All preventive measures have been taken, from ensuring physical and cyber security of energy facilities to prevention of accidents that may occur in energy facilities in connection with operation and maintenance, together with relevant state institutions. For this, 37 junction substations, 129 transmission lines and 6 power stations located in the capital and surrounding areas were fully inspected, and resources were determined for maintaining additional reserve power in the production process.
