The Kremlin's position on resolving the Ukraine conflict has not changed, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, the Kremlin's position on resolving the Ukraine conflict was determined by President Vladimir Putin two years ago.
Peskov stressed that this position is well known to the Ukrainian side and the American negotiators and has remained highly consistent.
The Kremlin spokesman said that communication channels with Kyiv should remain behind the scenes in order to work toward resolving the conflict.
Peskov also noted that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko did not convey any messages from Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Putin.
He added that the Kremlin should not assess the emotional tone of Zelenskyy's statements.
"The hysterical tone of Zelenskyy's speeches should be assessed by experts," Peskov said.
