Russian army cuts 200 thousand servicemen

Moscow–APA. Russian army will cut nearly 200 thousand servicemen. November 22 instruction of the Russian General Staff considers cutting of education officer staff, mostly lieutenants and captains, from 17 490 to 4 916, APA reports. The army cut will cover ground troops, General Intelligence Office, General Staff Operative Office. Most of the military doctors, journalists and lawyers will also leave their jobs. The army will be reduced totally to one million.
