Players of Milan FC Andrei Shevchenko and Kakha Kaladze also expected to bear testimony. The football players have friendly relationship with businessman Tamaz Chinchabadze, who was involved in the investigation as a witness. The Georgian businessman attended the dinner at the former Ukrainian security top-official Vladimir Sachyukâ€™s house, where Victor Yushchenko was poisoned. Member of the Parliament David Jvania said the businessman watched football game on TV in the next-door room during the dinner.
Victor Yushchenko was poisoned in September, 2004 on the eve of the presidential elections. Doctors said his meal was poisoned with dioxin. No one was detained on this fact of attempt to life yet.
