Russia to discuss draft law on extending presidential and parliament’s term, November 19

Moscow – APA. Russian parliament will discuss the draft law on proposed constitutional changes for extending the presidential and parliament’s term on November 19, speaker of the parliament’s lower house Boris Gryzlov told journalists, APA reports.
The parliamentarians adopted the proposed constitutional changes in the first reading. According to the proposed changes, the term of Russian president will be extended by 6 years and the term of the parliament by 5 years. Only communists voted against the proposed changes.
