Tashkent – APA. Uzbekistan has left Eurasian Economic Community. APA reports quoting Kommersant newspaper that sources in Russian Foreign Ministry said official Tashkent informed the member countries a month before. The members of Eurasian Economic Community are Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

Russian diplomats say official Tashkent is dissatisfied with the cooperation with Moscow, particularly customs union with Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. European Union has recently cancelled the economic sanctions imposed on Uzbekistan. Russian diplomats note that this factor played a role while making a decision concerning Eurasian Economic Community

Eurasian Economic Community was established aiming to apply free trade regime. It is planned to establish customs union with participation of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan within the framework of Eurasian Economic Community. Official Tashkent is dissatisfied, since the other participating countries have not been admitted to the union.
