Head of the Armenian Industry and Business Union Arsen Kazaryan said closed borders with Turkey inflicted 500 million USD of damages on Armenia’s economy every year. “We are negotiating with TUSIAD the legal export of Armenian products. If the trade agreement is realized, there will be no need to normalize political relations”.

Arsen Kazaryan said products of Rusal-Armentel would be first exported to Turkey. “There is a serious need in aluminum foil in the Turkish market, but unfortunately Armenian products are delivered to Turkey via the third countries. If we begin legal export, work of Armenian producers will be eased. We should be ahead of politicians”.

Volume of trade turnover between Turkey and Armenia increased for 2.2 times and reached 185 million USD this year.
