Two Georgian police officers killed in mine blast near South Ossetia

Tbilisi – APA. Police car struck mine in a Georgian village near South Ossetia. APA reports that two Georgian police officers were killed and three wounded in the aftermath of the accident. Georgia’s Interior Ministry said two landmines had been exploded. Two police officers, who came to help their colleagues after the first explosion, also struck mine.
Mine clearing operations are being carried out in the territory.
