European Commission doesn’t react to Lukashenko’s remarks addressed to Barroso

The source said the European Union has not recognized Lukashenko as a democratically-elected president. “The European Commission has no experience to comment on the statements of individuals”. Spokesperson for the Commission Olivier Ballie also confirmed that the European Commission will not comment on the Lukashenko’s remarks.

Lukashenko said EU countries attempted to impose economic sanctions against Belarus. “They’re all crooks. So I don’t want to talk about any Barrosos or other bastards like that. We are ideological enemy, a threat for them. The question is not about the democracy or dictatorship. We don’t need in such democracy”. Lukashenko used the word "kozyol" - literally meaning ’goat’ but with a more vulgar force in colloquial usage - while speaking to press in Narovlya, near the Chernobyl site in southern Belarus, on the 25th anniversary of the nuclear catastrophe on Tuesday.
