Turkmen national security minister sacked

Ashgabat – APA. Turkmenistan’s President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov has sacked the national security minister Charymyrat Amanov for shortcomings in his work, APA reports. Amanov was replaced by Yaylim Berdiyev, who had been defense minister and was succeeded in that post by a deputy, Berench Gundogduyev. Yaylim Berdiyev has led the defense ministry since 2009. He was the head of the state customs service before that.
