Brother and sister of the suspected suicide bomber, Magomed Yevloyev – Fatima and Akhmed Yevloyev (1994 and 1988 respectively), and a 23-year-old resident of the village of Ali-Yurt, Umar Aushev, were taken under arrest for two months. Another suspect, 20-year-old Adam Ganiyev was arrested for 72 hours because of lack of evidences in his involvement in the terrorist attack.
According to the investigators’ version, Umar Aushev accompanied the suicide bomber to Moscow. During the examination traces of explosives were found on Ahmad Yevloyev’s hand. The court issued warrant of arrest of another suspect Islam Yevloyev. He has no relatives to Magomed Yevloyev.
36 were killed and 180 injured in the Domodedovo terrorist attack on January 24. Leader of Chechen rebels Doku Umarov took responsibility for the attack.
