Georgia accuses Russia in ceasefire violation

Tbilisi. Nino Jvania â€“ APA. Georgian Foreign Ministry accused the Russian Federal Security Service in violation of ceasefire regime reached on August 12, 2008 as the UN World Food Programâ€™s vehicles were not allowed to enter Perevi village, APA Georgian correspondent reports.

â€œMoscow continues to politicize the humanitarian affairs. Moscow demands the international organizations accredited in Georgia to apply Kremlin-controlled Tskhinvali regime for entrance to the occupied territoriesâ€, said the Georgian Foreign Ministry.

The ministry stated that such actions threaten legal rights and interests of the citizens settled in the occupied territories and violate their rights. â€œThe international organizations should provide its humanitarian activity in Georgia without barriersâ€.

Russian security officials didnâ€™t allow the UN World Food Program vehicles to entry Perevi village of Sachkherski region. The vehicles carried food and provisions for local residents on the eve of New Year.
