Tbilisi – APA. Georgian parliament will move to the city of Kutaisi soon. The parliament approved an appropriate draft law on Friday, APA reports. According to the draft law, the parliament will hold its plenary sessions in Kutaisi and committee meetings in Tbilisi beginning from 2012. The draft law on movement was proposed by MP Akaki Bobokhidze and supported by President Mikhail Saakashvili and after that it was sent to the parliament. The ruling party’s lawmakers supported the draft law, but oppositionists were against saying that it will cause additional expenditures for the travel between Tbilisi and Kutaisi. MP Georgiy Targamadze said it would be better if these resources were sent not to travel expenditures, but to the development of economy of the city of Kutaisi.
