Chisinau – APA. Moldova votes in early parliamentary elections on Wednesday. The country has implemented the parliamentary administration since 2001, where the president, government and lawmaking authorities are elected in the parliament. The first results of the voting will be announced in the night. The Central Election Commission withdrew the international observers of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan from the country on the eve of the elections accusing them in an attempt to organize “velvet revolution” in the country. 11 polling stations were opened in the territory of unrecognized “Transdniestrian Republic” and only Moldovan citizens will vote there because the separatist leaders didn’t allow the elections in the breakaway region. 10 political parties and tow independent candidates are running for the new parliament, which will elect the president and the government. The communists, who had majority in the previous parliament, couldn’t gain enough votes to elect Zinaida Greceanu, president Voronin’s heiress. President Voronin dismissed the parliament on June 15.
