Ahmad Zakayev and speaker of Chechen parliament meet in Oslo

Oslo â€“APA. Speaker of the Chechen parliament Dukvakh Abdurrahmanov and Chechen rebel ideologist Ahmad Zakayev held two-day talks in Oslo and reached an agreement, APA reports quoting Kommersant newspaper. The sides agreed to issue joint statement. The parliament speaker aimed to make Zakayev, who received political asylum in London, sure to return to Chechnya. Chechen president Ramzan Kadirov said he wished only Zakayev among the â€œIchkeria representativesâ€ to return home. Head of the forum for peace in Chechnya Ayvar Amundsen brokered the talks between Zakayev and Abdurrahmanov. Ramzan Kadirov offered Zakayev to take post of the minister of culture of Chechnya, but he rejected his offer. Kadirov confirmed that they continued the talks with Zakayev and said they had good relations with Zakayev.
