Russian serviceman asks political asylum in Georgia

Tbilisi – APA. Russian sergeant Dmitriy Artemev served in South Ossetia crossed the contact line between the troops and asked political asylum from the Georgian government, APA reports. The serviceman said he made this decision because of unbearable conditions in their military base. Earlier Russian sergeant Alexander Glukhov also received political asylum from the government of Georgia. Georgia’s Ministry for Refugees confirmed that the Russian serviceman asked them for political asylum.
