Suicide bomber wounded Ingush president was a woman lost her brother

The bomb car used in assassination attempt was driven by resident of Malgobek village of Ingushetia Pyatimat Mutaliyeva, a woman whose brother was killed in a shooting with law-enforcement officers in Nazran on February 12, 2009. The security forces said only fragment of suicide bomberâ€™s body was found and details would be identified after the genetic examination.

Pyatimat Mutaliyeva was detained during the anti-militant operation in the Cossack village of Orjonikidze on March 26, 2009, but was released with other woman detainees on April 10. The investigators didnâ€™t find criminality in their actions.
Ingush president Yunusbek Yevkurov was wounded in an assassination attempt on June 22. A car bomb hit a convoy that Yevkurov was going to his residence in Nazran. Yevkurov and his brother were badly wounded. Driver and a presidential guard were killed. The investigators found out that Toyota Camry used in the assassination attempt was stolen in Moscow.
