U.K. FTSE 100 index rises 0.05%, French CAC-40 â€“ 0.10%, German DAX falls 0.22%

Baku â€“ APA-Economics. On July3, overall, the U.K. FTSE 100 index rose 0.05% to 4236,28 and the French CAC-40 index climbed 0.105 to 3119,5. German DAX index fell 0.22% to 4708,21.

According to APA-Economics, production sectorâ€™s Xstrata shares dropped 1.4%, BHP Billiton lost 1%, Rio Tinto Group â€“ 0.4% and Euarasian Natural â€“ 0.3%. Due to oil price drop, Tullow Oilâ€™s shares fell 1.5%, Royal Dutch Shell â€“ 0.7% and BP- 0.4%.

Meanwhile the banking sectorâ€™s quotation was increased: Barclays â€“ 2.8%, Banco Santander â€“ 2.2%, BNP Paribas â€“ 2%, HSBC â€“ 1.7% and Deutsche Bank â€“ 1.7%.

The United States cancelled exchanges because of Independence Day on July 4.

Euro rate against USD is 1.3979 (-0.03%) in the world markets.
