To restore bilateral ties, Iran should stop interfering in Saudi domestic affairs â€“ ambassador

According to him, no country can accept any intervention in its domestic affairs and any attack on its embassy.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia too strongly condemns and protests these nasty statements and aggressions, said the ambassador.

“As for the restoration of relations with Iran, the Kingdom thinks Iran should stay away from interfere in its domestic affairs, from supporting and funding the terrorists, and should respect principles of good neighborliness,” he stressed.

The ambassador mentioned that not only Saudi Arabia, but other regional countries such as Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and Bahrain are also subjected to Iran’s interference.

According to him, the main reason of civil wars and religious strife in these countries is the direct interference of Iran’s regime.

“If Iran puts an end to such actions and its efforts to create a confrontation in the Islamic world, avoids backing and promoting terrorism, then we can talk about the restoration of relations. Because the Kingdom has always supported and will further support the Islamic solidarity and unity,” he added.

Saudi Arabia is considering all possible options in connection with Iran either at the level of the League of Arab States or the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the United Nations, said the ambassador.

Saudi Arabia will make every effort to protect its territorial integrity and ensure the interests of its people, the diplomat completed.
