Baku-APA. Three people were killed and another person was injured after a truck collided head-on with a minibus on a highway in northwest China's Qinghai Province, local authorities said on Thursday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
The accident happened at 8:30 p.m., when the semi-trailer truck heading toward Xining, Qinghai's capital, collided with the minivan at a section of the Xijiu Highway in Guinan County.
Three people in the minivan, including the driver, died at the scene. Another minivan passenger was injured and taken to hospital, according to the provincial department of public security.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
