Salami has accused Saudi Arabia of instigating war in the region and backing terrorist organizations.
“By inflaming war in other countries, backing Takfiri groups, showing indifference to organizing the Hajj pilgrimage, and executing prominent religious and political figures, the Saudi regime thinks they will become a major power in the region,” he said.
Salami said the path the Saudi regime is taking is like the one Saddam took in the 1980s. “He started a war against Iran, executed prominent clerics and suppressed dissidents. All witnessed how the Saddam regime collapsed in a shameful misery and hate”, the commander added.
