Baku-APA. A magnitude 7.0 quake struck around 80 km from Dadali in the Pacific Solomon Islands early on Thursday, local time, the U.S. Geological Survey reported, APA reports quoting Reutesr.
The USGS located the quake at a depth of 10 km.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said that "based on all available data, a destructive Pacific-wide tsunami is not expected, and there is no tsunami threat to Hawaii".
