The US does not interfere in the internal affairs of Syria, Kerry said, noting it is important that the citizens of Russia to understand the position of the US.
“We are not involved in the color revolution. We don’t interfere in the affairs of other countries,” he added.
Kerry said that the U.S. goal is to achieve peace: “This revolution began with young Syrians demonstrations, but they collided with Assad's thugs. What happened then? The parents of young people descended to the streets as their children were beaten. Adults faced the bullets and bombs. Thus, Syrian revolution had begun,” said Kerry.
