Baku-APA. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit the White House on Sept. 30, President Barack Obama's Press Secretary Jay Carney said Tuesday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
Carney made the announcement during his regular briefing, saying that Obama "looks forward to discussing with prime minister Netanyahu the progress on final status negotiations with the Palestinians as well as development in Iran, Syria, and elsewhere in the region."
The spokesman didn't provide further details about Netanyahu's forthcoming visit. The two leaders last met in March, when Obama visited Israel.
