He made the remarks Dec.21 at a press conference while answering a question on the prospects for the restoration of Turkey-Israeli relations.
The diplomat said that the Turkish government has ups and downs in its policy toward developing relations with Israel. “Though the Turkish government froze its relations wit Israel in recent years upon the Zionist regime’s attack on Marmara ship, it still continued relations in many fields,” he added.
The spokesman mentioned that what is happening in the region is not welcomed.
“Turkey, though it has problems with neighboring countries, is establishing relations with the regime that occupied al-Quds. We hope that the Turkish government will pursue such policies in regard to its neighbors that this will create a condition for settlement of the problems in the region”, he said.
Jaber-Ansari added that Iran is ready to provide assistance in the settlement of the regional problems together with Turkey.
