Baku-APA. Iran’s return to the oil market does not adversely affect the price of this energy resource, Iran’s ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanaei said on Wednesday. "I indeed believe Iran’s presence on the oil market does not impact the oil price," the diplomat said, APA reports quoting TASS.
The world is producing 120 mln barrels of oil daily and 500,000 barrels added by Iran will not seriously influence on the market, Sanaei added. Current oil prices are unacceptable, the ambassador said. Oil production across the globe should be either reduced or remain at the same level, he added. Iran has no plans to build a gas pipeline to Europe so far, Sanaei said.
