Baku-APA. At least seven people were killed and 36 others were wounded when a suicide bomber detonated his explosive-laden car Wednesday in Kabul, Afghan authorities said, APA reports quoting Anadolu Agency.
The attack, which took place in the heart of Afghanistan`s capital city and only one kilometer from the presidential palace, did not target any governmental or military institutions.
“At least seven civilians, including a child were martyred, while 36 others, including three children, four women and three policemen were wounded,” Sediq Sediqi, a spokesman for the interior ministry, said.
At least 12 civilian vehicles were also damaged as a result of the explosion.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
