Baku-APA. An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale jolted 16km NW of Hanamaki, Japan at 17:31:41 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said, APA reports quoting local media.
The epicenter, with a depth of 90.06 km, was initially determined to be at 39.4665 degrees north latitude and 140.9627 degrees east longitude.
