Baku-APA. At least 14 people died and 27 others were wounded in a tourist bus accident in Japan, the country’s Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga told reporters on Friday, APA reports quoting Press TV.
The accident occurred earlier in the day, when a bus carrying 41 people to a ski resort went off the road on the border between Nagano and Gunma prefectures, near the town of Karuizawa, rolling down a hill.
Yoshihide Suga told a news conference on Friday that Japan’s Transport Ministry has launched an investigation into the accident.
The road conditions at the time of the accident were normal and there was no ice, according to police.
