Sarfraz Bugti, home minister of Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, said that a suicide bomber blew himself up at the entrance of a Shia mosque when a religious congregation was taking place inside there in Bhag area, a town located in the central part of Balochistan.
Windows of nearby buildings were smashed due to the impact of the explosion which was heard in a wide area, he said.
The injured people have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
Police cordoned off the area for investigations.
