The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said it has completed another series of airstrikes against Iran, marking the ninth consecutive night of operations, APA reports.
According to CENTCOM, the strikes targeted command centers, coastal surveillance posts, air defense systems, naval facilities, as well as missile and drone positions.
Earlier, CENTCOM said the latest wave of attacks began at 7:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time.
The command said the objective of the operation was to further degrade Iran's military capabilities used in attacks against commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
