Two people trapped in a tunnel as a result of floods in Nepal have been rescued, APA reports.
According to Reuters, Chinese rescuers managed to rescue two people trapped in a tunnel at the Upper Trishuli Hydropower Station in Nepal.
They were handed over to the relevant authorities.
Earlier, another person was found in the tunnel.
Local authorities believe that a large number of people remain trapped in various tunnels.
It should be noted that 1,344 people have died as a result of floods in areas of Nepal bordering China, while around 4,887 people remain missing, including 583 foreign nationals.
