Unfortunately, the international community didn't provide the support the Syrian people needed for 13 years when they were subjected to massacres, President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan said duringjoint press conference with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in the Turkish capital Ankara, APA reports.
He noted that Syria's revival now requires the support of neighboring and friendly countries, as well as the EU and other international organizations.
Erdogan emphasized that his country plays a key role in the Syrian issue, adding that during his talks with Ursula von der Leyen, they shared a common view on the issue of Syria's territorial integrity.
