The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it has successfully managed to evacuate over 150 people from conflict-ridden Sudan, APA reports citing Teletrader.
According to the ministry, which carried out evacuations by sea, among the people were 91 Saudi citizens, alongside 66 nationals coming from various countries, such as Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Tunisia, Pakistan, India, Bulgaria, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Canada and Burkina Faso.
The Central Committee of Sudanese Doctors (CCSD) revealed that fighting in the country continues, despite the promised ceasefire, with the hospitals still being targeted.
