Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Israeli troop positions in southern Lebanon, Prime Minister's Office informed, APA reports.
The Prime Minister was accompanied on this trip by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, Chief of the General Staff of the Army Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, and Commander of the Northern Military District Major General Rafi Milo, the office noted.
Following his visit, Netanyahu announced his intention to continue the campaign against the Hezbollah. "The war continues, including within the security zone in Lebanon, where I was some time ago," he said.
It was noted that strikes against Hezbollah serve to prevent possible attacks.
