At least four people were killed and 33 injured in the strike as Israeli warplanes hit an eight-storey residential building with five missiles located in the Basta region, Lebanese media reported.
Several powerful blasts shook Beirut at around 4 am (0200 GMT), Reuters witnesses said. At least four rockets were fired in the attack, two security sources said.
